2005 – Present:
After the passing of my father and grandmother I had
the financial wherewithal to relocate to Gresham, OR, and pursue a part time music
career while engaged in myriad home improvement projects. In the present economic atmosphere however,
it has become necessary for me to seek full time employment to cover both
day-to-day expenses and build a retirement portfolio.

1999 to 2001: Systems Administrator

Unix Administrator, Tech Support and Web Master an Internet Service Provider.
In charge of monitoring & troubleshooting servers, server security,
customer service (including help desk), account changes in system, & some
sales. Responsible for daily web appearance and updates. Build, modify, and set
up servers and network.

1989 to 1999: Electronic Technician
Los Angeles Daily News, Woodland Hills, Ca.
Maintained printing and all production equipment for large metropolitan
newspaper.
Responsible for all levels of pressroom and building electric and electronic
repair, installation, and maintenance, including but not limited to: board
level repair, relay logic, electrical construction, building lighting, power
and HVAC, reading and using blueprints, manuals, digital and analog test
equipment.Tech support for DEC mainframe, PC, and peripheral systems.
AC and DC motors up to 100-hp. Completed AutoLogic 3850 Imager School.

1988 TO 1989: Driver and Asst. Manager
Airborne express, North Hollywood, Ca.
Responsible for very busy route centered around Van Nuys airport, and able
to fill in for absent drivers on 10 other routes covering most of the San
Fernando Valley and points north.
Assisted supervising all drivers and planning routes, writing weekly reports,
as well as customer service and sales.

1984 TO 1988: Shipping and Receiving Manager
Sprauge Magnetics, Sylmar, Ca.
Reorganized the
shipping and receiving function and operated it.
Spent part-time in repair lab. During periods of peak activity, also supervised
others. Attended technical school during this period.

.Shipping and Receiving Mgr. Assaying, refining and processing of precious
metal products.
Shipping, receiving and expediting functions, as well as pick up and delivery
of scrap metals and bullion.
